Tips for a Great Visit w/ Santa & Mrs. Claus
We want Santa & Mrs. Claus’s visit to be very, very special. Here are 9 tips to help make your visit merry:
1. Provide the cell phone number of someone at the event who will have it on for emergencies.
2. Have a special place for Santa & Mrs. Claus to park very close to the entrance of the event.
3. Have someone outside to meet Santa & Mrs. Claus- to show them the way and to load toys into his sack if needed.
4. If gifts are provided, please be sure to provide gifts that the children can play with immediately rather than something that must be assembled.
5. Plan it so Santa & Mrs. Claus can make a “Grand Entrance”.
6. Have everyone participate in a common task (i.e. Singing).
7. Place Santa & Mrs. Claus chairs so it has a great holiday background for photos. Leave room behind for group photos and please do not put Santa near a fireplace. Note: Santa’s suit is very warm, and no one likes a sweaty smelly Santa.
8. Place payment (unless prepaid or other arraignments) or tips in a Christmas Card so you don’t have to hand Santa or Mrs. Claus a check or cash and risk a child witnessing the transaction.
9. Keep the children together and occupied to give Santa & Mrs. Claus a few minutes for their departure.
